Finding our meeting locations on campus
This guide has some helpful directions for finding rooms and other spaces we use on campus.

Cottrell A1
A1 is a seminar room at the end of the A corridor on Cottrell Level 2 (entrance level).
From the link bridge:
Turn right in the entranceway and head down the A corridor
Follow the corridor to the end and then go through the last door on your right
Go through the door on your left.
From the bus hub:
Head to Cottrell main entrance and turn left and then right down the X corridor; this runs along the length of the courtyard.
Head through the two sets of doors
Turn left and head down the A corridor
Follow the corridor to the end and then go through the last door on your right
Go through the door on your left.
Cottrell LTV1
V1 is a lecture theatre in the V corridor on Cottrell Level 2 (entrance level) which can be accessed via the A or B corridors.
From the link bridge:
Turn left in the entranceway and head up the A corridor
Follow the corridor until you meet the second set of doors
Turn right. V1 is accessed through doors on either side of the room.
From the bus hub:
Head to Cottrell main entrance and head up the B corridor
Follow the corridor until you meet the fourth set of doors
Turn left. V1 is accessed through doors on either side of the room.
Students' Union: Studio, Venue & Underground
The Student's Union is located in the Robbins Centre and connects to the University atrium. Studio is the main Union bar on Level 2 (entrance level). Venue and Underground are both daytime venues located beneath Studio on Level 1.
From the bus hub:
Head to Cottrell main entrance and walk through the courtyard to the link bridge
Walk down the link bridge to the atrium and campus central
Head into the atrium and walk past SUP.
Bear right and walk past the large wall-mounted screen
Keep right and head down the corridor. You should see the Students' Union signage.
For Studio: go through the last door on your left before the Union office and stairs
For Venue: head down the stairs at the end of the corridor and turn left. Go through the doors on your right
For Underground: head down the stairs at the end of the corridor and turn left. Go through the doors in front of you.
From the atrium:
Head down the corridor connected to the atrium adjacent to the former Santander
Follow the corridor to the end. You should see the Students' Union signage
For Studio: go through the last door on your left before the Union office and stairs
For Venue: head down the stairs at the end of the corridor and turn left. Go through the doors on your right
For Underground: head down the stairs at the end of the corridor and turn left. Go through the doors in front of you.
Accessibility
Step-free access is available throughout the Cottrell building, and lifts are available in the A corridor. Most internal doors connecting corridors are automatic and can be activated using the touchpoint on the wall. The entrances to most seminar rooms and lecture theatres have manual doors.
The Cottrell building and Andrew Miller building are connected by the link bridge which offers step-free access between both areas.
